Rory McIlroy’s Nike Support Staff Boosted By Appointment Of Nate Radcliffe.

As reported previously by www.golfbytourmiss.com Nike Golf continues to boost it’s support team ahead of the annoucement shortly of the signing of World No. 1 Rory McIlroy.

Nike Golf has appointed former Srixon/Cleveland staffer Nate Radcliffe to be the company’s Director of Engineering for golf clubs.

Radcliffe joins a growing list of players and staff heading to Nike including PGA Tour players Kyle Stanley, Bill Haas, Gary Woodland and Korean sensation Seung-yul Noh.

Radcliffe spent 11 years working for Srixon/Cleveland and with Nike stating he will be join a talented team of engineers who continue to bring inspiration and innovation to golfers around the world.

Prior to his most recent role at Cleveland Golf/Srixon, Radcliffe ascended through various roles from Metalwoods Development Manager to Managing Research Groups and serving as the Senior Research and Design Engineer.

“I have been very impressed with how far Nike Golf has come in a short period of time and am very excited about where the company is headed,” said Radcliffe.

“I am looking forward to being a part of what promises to be an exciting time for Nike Golf.”

Radcliffe earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Michigan State University in Mechanical Engineering and Biomechanics. At Michigan State University, he completed his graduate studies under the guidance of renowned Biomechanist Dr. Robert Hubbard, inventor of the HANS device neck support now standard in automotive racing.

Radcliffe will be relocating to Fort Worth, Texas, where Nike Golf’s Club Research and Development facility, The Oven, is located.
