It was the occasion of Luke Donald’s 34th birthday but it was Race to Dubai rival Rory McIlroy on the receiving end of the presents.

Donald delivered McIlroy a glowing tribute suggesting McIlroy has more talent than anyone he’s ever player with including the 14-time Major winning Tiger Woods.
“Just in pure talent, Rory has more talent than anyone I’ve ever played with including Tiger,” said Donald.
“Tiger’s work ethic has always been tremendous, and his mindset, as well. Tiger’s mindset separated himself from the field and he was really at the top of his game.
“But in terms of talent, I believe Rory has more talent.”
And when Donald was asked where he saw McIlroy in 10 years, and how many Majors could the present 22-year old capture, he responded: “The sky’s the limit.”
