Clarke Now Calling For Ryder Cup To Be Postponed To 2021
Former European Ryder Cup captain, Darren Clarke is now probably the last to confirm what the golf world seems to know already and that is the 2020 Ryder Cup will be postponed to 2021.
The PGA of America and European Tour are expected this week to confirm this move rather than go ahead with a ‘no spectator’ encounter in September.
And Clarke, who was at the helm of a Europe defeat four years ago at Hazeltine, believes it’s a ‘good decision’ to put the world’s now ...

McIlroy Makes Too Many ‘Dumb’ Mistakes In Disappointing Travelers Journey.
World No. 1 Rory McIlroy confessed he made too many ‘dumb’ mistakes in yet another agonising and frustrating finish at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut.
McIlroy’s final round 67 had all the positives you’d want on a last day including draining a monster eagle putt, brilliantly chipping-in twice for birdie and also holing-out for birdie from a 16th hole greenside bunker.
There was also a booming 341-yard drive but as he and caddy, Harry Diamond relaxed on their private jet ...

Mickelson, who turned 50 on June 16th, went into day three one clear of the field but struggled managing just two birdies in a one-over par 71 to drop back into a share of seventh place at 12-under par.
And ‘Lefty’s’ despair in also striving to capture a third Travelers title and a 45th PGA Tour trophy was mirrored ...

DeChambeau Hits Booming 427-Yard Travelers Drive But Then Takes Bogey.
Bryson DeChambeau has been the centre of attention since returning to competiton at last fortnight’s Tour stop in Texas.
The 26-year old American had bulked-up big time adding 40 pounds and in the process bounding from 34th in ‘Driving Distance’ at the end of last year to now be ranked first with an average distance off the tee of 328.5 yards though the young American has been longer than that.
But little did anyone expect the golfer looking more like Hulk Hogan to produce a drive ...
