Lowry Making Safeway Debut But Not Treating Event As 2020/21 PGA Season Opener
In a normal season Shane Lowry would be at home with his young family considering teeing-up in European Tour events in Portugal, Italy and then later in the year in Scotland, South Africa and end his year in Dubai.
This though has not been a normal year given the worldwide Coronavirus pandemic that continues to bring death and despair around the globe.
When Lowry would have made three or four return trips already this year across ‘The Pond’ he’s remained Stateside since mid-February.

Scottish No. 1 Robert MacIntyre reckons he could not have asked for a better warm-up ahead of next week’s maiden U.S. Open than the ‘brutal’ test he faced at last week’s Andalucia Masters.
MacIntyre arrived back in Oban yesterday (MON) morning after posting a final round one-under par 70 and finishing just inside the top-25 on the tight unforgiving Valderrama course in Spain.
It was his best finish by some 25 places in the four events MacIntyre has contested since the lifting of the lockdown.
MacIntyre ...
Tired-Looking McIlroy Running On The Smell Of An East Lake Oily Rag.
After the thrill and the excitement of a day earlier, Rory McIlroy seemed to be running on the smell of an oily rag on day two of the Tour Championship in Atlanta.
McIlroy had lit-up the East Lake course with Friday’s round of 64 that matched his best scores in 25 rounds of the PGA Tour’s season-ending event.
Saturday’s second day seemed as flat as the continuing ‘no spectator’ policy as McIlroy went through the motions in posting a no frills one-over par 71,
Included in McIlroy’s round ...
