Mickelson Highly Critical Of Inconsiderate U.S. Open Mobile Phone Users

Phil Mickelson ended his opening round of the U.S. Open highly critical of overzealous and inconsiderate mobile phone users at Torrey Pines. The six-time major winning Mickelson posted a disappointing four-over par 75 in yet another quest to win the one major, the now 51-year-old so desperately seeks. Though Mickelson’s first round, and those of many other competitors, was not helped by fans clearly distracting players in taking photographs and video clips and as diplomatic as Mickelson strives ...

McIlroy Calls For Greens Books & Arm-Lock Putting To Be Banned

If Rory McIlroy as Chairman of the PGA Tour Players Advisory Council gets his way, and it seems he may have, then greens books and the practice of arm-lock putting will be ‘outlawed’ on golf’s biggest tour. It was reported last week, the 16-PGA Tour player council that McIlroy heads voted two weeks ago to ban the books, which detail slopes and contours on putting surfaces. All it needs now is for the full PGA Tour board to rubber stamp the decision, and that could be with the move to come into ...

McIlroy Admits 10-Years Ago Winning US Open Lot Less Going On In His Head & A Little Less Cynical

Rahm Blames Himself For Memorial Withdrawal, Not PGA Tour – Neglected Vaccination

Jon Rahm blames himself and not the PGA Tour for his forced withdrawal from the Memorial and revealing he had delayed undertaking a coronavirus vaccination. Rahm stated he failed to prioritise the importance of the pre-Memorial vaccination and instead got carried away with his golf preparations. As we now know, this decision to delay the vaccination proved extremely costly with Rahm walking from the course on day leading ‘Jack’s Event’ by a dominating six shots. Though no sooner had the Spaniard ...

Koepka Insists He & DeChambeau Controversy ‘Good For Golf’.

Here’s a strange twist in the Brooks Koepka/Bryson DeChambeau on-going controversy. What emerged from a ‘rouge’ video clip of a PGA Championship Golf Channel post-round interview with Koepka, is now still a strong topic of conversation nearly a month on. Rewind to Kiawah Island and Koepka clearly was annoyed firstly with the noise DeChambeau was making in walking behind where Koepka was being interview by the Golf Channel, and with Koepka showing his disapproval by rolling his eyes ...
