Does Donald’s Rome Wildcard Picks Change With Europeans Dominating PGA Tour Wins?

I have a Ryder Cup theme question following Matt Fitzpatrick’s brilliant triumph at the RBC Heritage at Hilton Head in South Carolina. Fitzpatrick denied defending champ Jordan Spieth with a birdie at the third extra hole on the host Sea Pines course, banking the cool $3.6m first prize cheque, and $360,000 more than Jon Rahm won a week earlier in capturing the 87th hosting of the Masters. With Rahm winning an Augusta green jacket and ‘Fitz’ being fitted with traditional plaid jacket ...

Shiskine Golf – A Stunning & Spectacular Dozen Holes Of Scotland’s Best

Let me start by asking a question.  How many 12-holes golf courses have you played? While 12-hole golf courses are pretty rare, some of the famous courses in golf started off being a dozen holes, including Prestwick that from 1860 hosted the first dozen Open Championships. More recently, legendary Jack Nicklaus opened a 12-hole course back in 2007 he named ‘Red Ledges’ located to the east of Salt Lake City in Utah. Going onto the club’s website the course is described as: “One ...

Drysdale Muscles His Way Inside Top-10 Asian Tour New Season Re-Ranking Post Strong Vietnam Showing

Scot David Drysdale has taken a first big stride in superbly qualifying for the big-money Asian Tour events in coming months by muscling his way inside the top-10 on the 2023 season re-ranking table of those earning full Tour status earlier this year. Drysdale’s share of 16th in the International Series Vietnam saw him jump 31 spots to seventh on this first re-rank list for the new season, and thus rubber stamping his place in such events as the International Series England in the third ...

Schauffele Reminds McIlroy ‘Rules are Rules’ As Tour Colleagues Question His RBC Heritage Absence

Olympic Gold medal winning Xander Schauffele has delivered embattled Rory McIlroy a few reminders on how to deal with not breasting the victory tape first. McIlroy seems to be under fire from all sides at present, first for a decision to be ‘wired’ during the second round of last week’s Masters, ahead of crashing out at Augusta National. Now he’s facing more post Masters brickbats heading in McIlroy’s direction when he chose not to enter this week’s ‘elevate’ RBC Heritage at ...

The USGA has accepted a record 10,187 entries, including 15 champions, for the 123rd U.S. Open Championship at The Los Angeles (Calif.) Country Club’s North Course. It is the 11th consecutive time and the 14th time overall that entries have surpassed the 9,000 mark, and just the ...

Masters Champ Rahm Targeting A Victory Jacket Double At RBC Heritage

Jon Rahm has one new jacket in his wardrobe and with the Masters champion now looking to add a second is an many weeks at this week’s  RBC Heritage at Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. Rahm, 28, became the fourth Spaniard in winning at Augusta National, and on the occasion of boyhood hero Seve Ballesteros’ birthday. And rather than take the week off celebrating, the World No. 1 has put the celebrations on hold for a week to make the short journey from Georgia to South Carolina to ...

Stallings Chaotic Masters Continued Being Stopped By South Carolina Police.

For Scott Stalling, and not the real estate agent who received an invitation to tee-up in the Masters but the golfer Scott Stallings, found himself not only experiecing a much-publicised chaotic start but ended in being chased by police soon after competing at Augusta National. Of course, we all know the bizarre story of those at Augusta National incorrectly forwarding an invitation to compete in the 87th Masters to the wrong Scott Stallings, and that person who has a wife with same name as Scott ...
