Molinari Brothers Spotted On Shelf In Milan Airport Bar.
The Molinari brothers have put the Italy on the golfing map in recent years including competing side-by-side in the victorious 2010 Ryder Cup.
But no sooner had Tour Miss and our young assistant, Rubee King arrived in Milan on route to Turin for this week’s BMW Italian Open and we spotted the Molinari’s side-by-side in a bar close to Milan Malpensa Airport.
However the Molinari’s in question were bottles of Molinari Sambuca extra though on closer observation the left-hand bottle seemed a little ...
Stunning Snow-Capped Swiss Alps.
After three days of wet and miserable conditions the final two days of the Omega European Masters was bathed in sunshine.
But what the sunshine did reveal was a remarkable sight not always seen in September and that was the sight of the towering Swiss Alps covered in snow.
Players mentioned late during Friday’s round that snow flakes began to fall on the course but with the Alps covered in clouds no one knew just how much snow fell until Saturday morning.
And with the conditions so good on ...
The Day I Played Golf In Thomas Bjorn’s Shoes.
For 20 years now organisers of the Omega European Masters have been arranging a golf outing for media attending the event.
We play on the Jack Nicklaus-designed 9-hole course across the road from the main championship layout.
The event is a highly contested affair given the wonderful prizes on offer including an Omega wrist watch as top prize along with clothing, balls, gloves, umbrellas and so on.
However on this occasion I arrived to play without golf shoes and not looking forward to walking a ...

However this machine gun tottling criminal legend, who many believe instigated the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, was given shots in playing golf on the Old Course at St. Andrews, Turnberry and Muirfield.
Capone’s exploits with the golf clubs are detailed in a new book released ...
Charleson Harbour – USS Yorktown & Other Scenes.
The city of Charleston not only boasts some wonderful old buildings and thought-prevoking memorials but the harbour itself is a picture postcard of sights.
Somewhat dominating the Charleston harbour area is the now permanently moored USS Yorktown.
The aircraft carrier was commissioned in 1937 and decommissioned shortly after the end of WW 11 but was modernized and recommissioned in the early 1950s as an attack carrier (CVA), and then eventually became an antisubmarine carrier (CVS).
She was recommissioned ...
