Strong Winds Force Commercial Bank Qatar Masters To Be Reduced To 54 Holes.
Persistent strong winds has forced officials to abandon any further play on day two and also reduce the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters to 54 holes.
Tournament Director, David Probyn made the announcement at 1.45pm local time.
The second round will restart at 8.45am Saturday and with the third and final round now to be played on Sunday.
It is the first time in the 15-year history of the event the tournament will be played over 54 holes.
