European Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley has received an invitation to contest this year’s PGA Championship where fellow Irishman Rory McIlroy will defend the Rodman Wanamaker Trophy.
And while is now customary for the PGA of America, as organizers of both the Ryder Cup and PGA Championship, to offer rival captains an invitation, McGinley is delighted to be heading back to Oak Hill for a first time in a decade.

England’s Simon Khan brilliantly made amends for losing out in a play-off to be the leading player in the 36-hole US Open qualifier at Walton Heath.

England’s Simon Khan bounced back from the disappointment of losing the BMW PGA Championship with a first round 67 in today’s 36-hole US Open qualifier at Walton Heath.

Boo Weekley has ended a five-year wait to add another plaid jacket to his wardrobe.
Weekley rallied to win the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial on Sunday after he carded a final-round, 4-under 66 to finish at 14 under.
