Sergio Garcia has shaken hands and apologised to Tiger Woods today (Mon) at Merion following his controversial remarks at last month’s European Tour Players Award dinner.
Garcia extended his right hand to Woods on the practice range for this week’s 113th US Open Championship and the first time the duelling duo will play the same tournament since the unsavoury incidents during the third round of the Players Championship.

Florida golfing sensation Brooks Koepka set a new record for the largest victory margin in the 25-year history of the secondary European Challenge Tour in winning by 10 shots the Fred Olsen Challenge on the Canary Islands.

Finland’s Mikko Ilonen ended a six-year victory drought in capturing the Nordea Masters in Sweden.
Ilonen posted a final round 69 to win by three shots with a 21-under par total in superb conditions on the Bro Hof Slott course in Stockholm.
