Golf’s greatest Major Champion Jack Nicklaus today turns 75 years of age.
The player, affectionately known as ‘The Golden Bear’, was born on 21st January, 1940 in Upper Arlington, Ohio.
Nicklaus still holds the record with 18 Major victories while his first Major success, the 1962 US Open when he beat Arnold Palmer in a play-off, was also the first of his 73 victories on the PGA Tour.
