England’s Matt Wallace was soaring atop of the BMW PGA Championship day one leader-board all thanks to an eagle and five birdies for a 65.
Wallace continued from where he left off less than a week ago in finishing third at the KLM Open to eagle the par-5 fourth hole and bag five birdies to head the strong field on seven-under par.

Padraig Harrington has named Sweden’s Robert Karlsson as a first of a guaranteed five 2020 European Team Ryder Cup vice-captains ahead of naming another four later next year.
