Before last week, 42-year-old Alex Noren had been sidelined with injury for 31 weeks. In his second start back, the Swede is in contention for victory at the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.
Noren posted a ‘moving day’ 66 that including birdieing four of his closing five holes to muscle his way into second place at eight-under and just three shots adrift of World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.
