Those attending or viewing this week’s Omega European Masters will notice big changes to the Crans-sur-Sierre course in Crans Montana, Switzerland.

Double Major winning Rory McIlroy has paid $2.25m for a vacant piece of Florida real estate.
It’s understood McIlroy paid the amount for the vacant waterfront lot located right next to his Old Gate neighbourhood mansion at Palm Beach Gardens.
The piece of land is just shy of an acre and not that big when it comes to other blocks in the exclusive Florida estate.
The land is adjacent to the north side of McIlroy’s breathtaking abode in the cul-de-sac of Old Gate Lane.

Omega European Masters Crans-Sur-Sierre Course Unveil ‘Stadium Hole’.
There has been a lot of changes to this week’s host Crans-sur-Sierre course since Scotland’s Richie Ramsay captured the 2012 Omega European Masters.
However while most are cosmetic there is a huge structural change at the par three, 13th though there is no change in the length of the hole.
The hole now mirrors the famed 17th on the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass and annual event for the Players Championship.

Those coming to this week’s Omega European Masters will be in no doubt who is the defending champion as all about Crans-Montana is snaps of Scot Richie Ramsay with a 25-foot high ‘Welcome’ sign of him covering up construction of a new chalet in the main street of Crans Montana.
The construction of the chalet is also visible at the back of the first tee.

Frenchman Gregory Bourdy birdied his closing three holes to end a four-year winless drought for a two shot victory in the Wales Open at Celtic Manor.
The 31-year old Bordeaux-born Bourdy, who also claimed a fourth Tour success, came from three shots back to eagle the second and then birdie 16 and 17 before holing a 15-foot birdie at the last in a round of 67 for an eight under par total.
