The make-up of the 2014 Race to Dubai European Tour membership bizarrely will hinge on one player – South African Tim Clark.
Clark is among three Affiliate Members inside the top-110 on the money list who will retain automatic membership for next season.

The European Tour will enact further regulations from the start of next year’s season so that more of its PGA Tour-based players compete on the Race to Dubai Tour.
Thomas Bjorn, as Chairman of the Tounament Players Committee confirmed all European Tour members will be obliged to play more at ‘home’ and also in at least two events in countries where there nation hosts three or more Tour events.

A report in the Irish Times says Graeme McDowell’s Boyport Services Ltd show the firm enjoyed its most successful year to date in 2012 after recording profits of $US 4.207m (£2.643m/€3.1m).
The records lodged with Companies House in the UK show that accumulated profits increased from £3.539 million to £6.182 million in the 12 months to the end of December last.
The profit increase in 2012 followed a £2 million increase in profits to £3.5 million in the previous year.
