Icon’s golf client, consulting and hospitality business, led by President and CEO R.J. Nemer, the agency’s founder, will be absorbed into the golf division at WME | IMG.

Spain’s Miguel Angel Jimenez has congratulated Darren Clarke on being appointed as 2016 European Ryder Cup Captain.
Jimenez along with Clarke and Danish golfer Thomas Bjorn were the three considered to lead Europe later next year at Hazeltine.
However it was unanimous decision in favour of Clarke, and a decision Jimenez, who is competing in this week’s Hero India Open, graciously accepted and vowing to qualify automatically for the 2016 side.
