James Morrison: Breath Of Fresh Air SKY’s On-Course Commentary Team
There was a new voice walking the fairways commentating for SKY Sports Golf at this week’s Bapco Energies Bahrain Golf Championship.
It was England’s James Morrison and with the 40-year-old swapping his 14 clubs for a SKY micophone and what a breath of fresh air he was in his hopefully new role for the two-time DP World Tour winner.
I say ‘hopefully’ as Morrison indicates the role is only temporarily and while it would be far better seeing the two-time Tour winner inside ropes ...

Jamieson Pulls Off Brilliant Penultimate Hole Par-Save Last Day At Bahrain

However the Scot found the water some 306-yards off the tee and still facing 110-yards to the pin.
After taking a penalty drop, Jamieson landed his now ...

Also, not forgetting Europe’s own three-time major-winning Padraig Harrington who has also teed-up in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and now Bahrain.
The Texas duo of Reed and Walker are in their own way continuing a similar trend set by Tiger Woods at the height of his career, ...

A contented Richie Ramsay avoided more of the early season ‘rabbit holes’ to take ‘Route 66’ and put himself into contention on day one of the Bapco Energies Bahrain Golf Championship.
Ramsay, 41, battled the blustery but bright conditions, missing just one fairway in posting eight birdies in a six-under-par 66 on the host Colin Montgomerie course in the oil rich nation.
The four-time winning Scot ended the day in a four-way share of third place and five shots adrift of England’s ...
