TYRRELL HATTON .. With his 2020 BMW PGA Championship success

• It is Hatton’s fifth European Tour victory in his 148th appearance adding to the Alfred Dunhill Links
Championship (2016 and 2017), the Italian Open (2017) and Turkish Airlines Open (2019)
• It is his third Rolex Series victory after the Italian Open (2017) and Turkish Airlines Open (2019)
• Only Jon Rahm (four) has won more Rolex Series victories
• It is Hatton’s second victory worldwide in 2020 following the Arnold Palmer Invitational on the PGA Tour
• Hatton’s previous best finish in the BMW PGA Championship was T7 in 2016. He first attended the
Championship as a five-year old as his parents live in nearby Marlow
• Hatton could move as high as seventh on the Race to Dubai Rankings presented by Rolex on 1,453 points,
up from 80th position
• He will likely move inside the top-10 to ninth on the Official World Golf Ranking, up from 15th position.
• It is the sixth win for a player from England on the European Tour this season following Lee
Westwood (Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship presented by EGA), Sam Horsfield (Hero Open and Celtic
Classic), Andy Sullivan (English Championship) and Aaron Rai (Aberdeen Standard Investments
Scottish Open)
• It is a 345th win for an English player on the European Tour
• And the 12th Rolex Series win for a player from England, following Tommy Fleetwood (2017
