DeChambeu Dazzled By Dubai Traffic Lights

Dubai, UAE …Defending Omega Dubai Desert Classic champ Bryson DeChambeau admits he’s dazzled by the Dubai traffic lights.

DeChambeau, 26 brilliantly won five-times on the PGA Tour before venturing to the Middle East a year and shoot the lights out in winning by seven shots and setting a new Desert Classic scoring record of 24-under par.

And on the eve of the event the current World No. 17 was quizzed what he liked about Dubai from his maiden visit last year.

He said: “The stoplights here in Dubai, they are unique (smiling).  I’m serious, they are unique they way they flash green, letting you know they’re going to turn yellow before turning red.

“That’s something really helpful to somebody that’s looking and it’s green and you don’t know when they will turn yellow, but it gives you a heads-up it’s going to turn yellow.

“Some of that stuff’s really kind of cool to me, and it could be implicated in more places.”

And DeChambeau also likes the ever-changing Dubai skyline.

He said:  “From a technological perspective, the buildings just seem way more advanced.  They are beautiful to look at and fun to walk into.

“They’ve also got Dubai Expo coming up later this year, and that’s something I wish I could be here for.”
