Tiger Woods Slams Former Coach, Hank Haney.

It’s not surprising former long-time World No. 1 Tiger Woods has slammed former coach, Hank Haney.

In an interview with ESPN, Woods said he would not be reading The Big Miss: My Years Coaching Tiger Woods when it becomes available on March 27, the week before the Masters.

“I think it’s unprofessional and very disappointing, especially because it’s someone I worked with and trusted as a friend,” Woods said.

Tiger Woods' message to the likes of Hank Haney looking to 'cash in' on working wiht the 14-time Major champion.

“There have been other one-sided books about me and I think people understand that this book is about money.

“I’m not going to waste my time reading it.”

Not surprising is the fact Haney never contacted Woods ahead of the writing the book.

Haney spent some eight years as coach to Woods’s between 2002 and 2010 and claims to have spent 110 days a year with the 14-time major winner, a significant chunk of which was spent at the fallen superstar’s home.

The book outlines Haney’s observations of tactics Woods used to keep friends and family from getting too close to him.

It also describes Woods as fearful of “the big miss”, a dreadful golf shot that would cruel his chances of winning a tournament.

“I just think this book is very self-serving,” Woods said.

Woods split with Haney in 2010 to start working with Sean Foley.
