If the PGA Tour were to award a prize for spectator support of Tiger Woods this new season then Hailey Milan would be top of the queue.
Hailey with here glorious blonde locks is unmistakeable being present as she was at the Farmers Insurance Open, the Genesis Open and is on hand again this week having crossed the North American continent to follow Tiger at the Honda Classic.
“I am absolutely excited to be at the Honda Classic and I am absolutely riding the new Tigermania wave of support,” she said.
“I would love to consider myself as one of his best fans as I absolutely love Tiger. I am proud of him. I could not believe it when they wrote those stories about that he could not come back or he would never again win a Masters or that he’s a joke.
“Well, these people don’t know what they are talking about.
“Golf is a mental game and Tiger Woods is a genuius. He’s execellent and I am just waiting for his next win.
“I love him very much. He’s incredible and every round I follow him around I cannot wait to see him birdie a hole.
“I’m also looking to see his improvement and even if he is terrible but then in my opinion and his opinion he is going to win every single time.”
Hailey sadly said she was not able to travel to the Bahamas to see Woods tee-up last December in his own Hero World Challenge but she’s not missed any of Tiger’s 2018 appearances having been at Torrey Pines, Riviera and now PGA National here in her home state of Florida.
“This is my opportunity to follow closely Tiger’s return,” she said.
“Ironically, this year I hope to be at every one of his tournament’s this year.
“San Diego was lovely as I loved the Pacific Ocean as I am an ocean person as I am actually from Florida and I live just south of Miami Beach.”
Hailey believes following Tiger can clearly benefit the 14-time Major winner and who is looking for a first victory anywhere since capturing the 2013 WGC – Bridgstone Invitational.
“I have just fabulous energy and I am a spiritual person, so I pray and I believe when you bring someone good positive vibes and energy, and lots of love, that somehow they will receive that,” she said.
“Somebody like Tiger Woods has so much energy you cannot be a master of golf unless you can master your energy. So I watch him on the golf course and I see the difference now in his set-up. I see the Zen energy he literally takes ahead of taking his stance. I can tell when he is focussed and I can tell when he is a little bit off and not taking his time as much.
“And he is a winner because he normally takes his time and he focusses and calculates everything, and he considers more variables than most other players that I see out there and I respect that.
“And also it would be nice to think that in a small way I can be contributing to Tiger’s positive energy rising, and probably every other great supporter out there who also feels positive vibes.”
So is Tiger going soon? Hailey knows the answer.
“Absolutely!” she said.
“I don’t know when that will be but all I know he is going to win again, and I also know he will exceed and break Jack Nicklaus record of 18 Majors.”
Hailey is not the only Tiger Woods supporter wishing Woods success and given the way he’s played for three rounds fo the Honda Classic Hailey could get her wish sooner rather than later.
