What are the chances of anyone teeing up at the opening of a new golf course and recording a hole-in-one at the very first hole.
And how much would those odds increase if 14-time Major winning Tiger Woods was on hand as designer of the course to witness the ace.
Well that’s what happened when Woods journeyed to the official opening of Bluejack National, and his first signature design course located about an hour’s drive north of Houston, Texas.
After Woods was present at the opening of the 18-hole championship layout he moved on to the opening of the ‘Playgrounds Course’, a purpose built 10-hole course measuring 792-yards and featuring all par threes.
Two juniors were selected to represent the South Texas PGA to play the inaugural round.
First on the tee was Corpus Christi student Taylor Crozier.
Tyler hit a good shot but then everyone present watched as the ball landed left of the pin and then rolled down towards the hole to disappear into the cup.
There was an almighty uproar and with Woods embracing Tyler with a big bear hug, clapping wildly and when the noise abated, praising the feat.
Woods later got onto this Twitter page and post: First hole at The Playgrounds @BluejackNation and this happened http://youtu.be/NxAoz2eE_ZM
So what odds?
