Palmer Believes Woods Back Concern Will Now See Him Struggle To Surprass Nicklaus All-Time Majors Record – Video.

Arnold Palmer believes a nagging back injury will now see Tiger Woods struggled to surpass the all-time Majors record mark set by ‘Golden Bear’ Jack Nicklaus.

After having pulled out of the recent Honda Classic and then suffering back spasms a week later at Trump Doral, Woods immediate and also long-time playing career is now seriously in doubt.

And with that fear Palmer believes it lessens the goal of Woods in breaking Nicklaus’ record of 18 Major Championship victories.

“I don’t think being 38-years is the ultimate stopping point for his quest to catch Jack’s18 Majors but it does lesson the possibility of that happening,” said Palmer.

“It’s going to be tough and the fact that these young guys are tough and they’re strong, it will be hard for anybody, whether it be Nicklaus or Tiger or whomever it would be to continue winning Major Championships.”

However see more of Palmer’s interview held today and on the eve of this week’s $US 6.2m event.
