It was one of those questions you come to look forward to from the China-born media.
On this occasion it was a question directed at former European No. 1 Lee Westwood and it centered around the christening of the third in line to the British throne – Prince George.
Westwood was asked by this male journalist if he had been paying attention to news surrounding the christening and whether he had any relationship with Royal Family.
“I don’t know that well,” Westwood said breaking out into a big smile.
“I wasn’t invited to the christening so I was fairly disappointed about that but then maybe I might get invited to the next one.
“In fact, I was watching BBC World News this morning and then only found out he was being christened today or tomorrow, so I should really pay more attention. I’ve even forgotten what the called the baby but then I know now it’s Prince George”.
The question put to Westwood rekindled memories of a question put to Adam Scott when the Australian was asked: “Mr. Scott? You are a very handsome man. Have you ever thought that if your golf doesn’t work out have you maybe considered becoming a film star?”
Scott was taken completely by surprise and simply responded: “I can’t act so I think I will be sticking to golf.”
