Justin Rose and David Lynn’s build-up to this week’s PGA Championship has not gone all that well off the golf course.
The reigning US Open champion along with fellow Englishman Lynn were at the centre of courtesy car mishaps.

Earlier in the week, Rose dented his gleaming Mercedes just outside the front gates of the Oak Hill clubhouse.
Then today Lynn was driving back from a visit to Niagara Falls when he stopped to put gas in the Merc.
Only problem was the 4.5litre gleaming silver German-built car runs on high octane gas and didn’t take too kindly to the lesser octane fuel.
The car only went a few yards before it started coughing and spluttering.
Rose was asked about their accident when he attended a press conference here in the PGA Championship Media Centre.
“Unfortunately it was just a minor fender bender,” said Rose.
“I guess accidents are accidents. You can never know exactly quite why they happened.
“I figured I looked left, I look right, the gap to cross the road turn left, and a car essentially came out of nowhere. So it was one of those situations, unfortunately hit the front left and a bit of a dink.
“Obviously it’s embarrassing but at the same no one was hurt and that’s, I guess, all that matters at the end of the day.”
Lynn posted a snap of Niagara Falls on his Twitter page and with the comment: “Went to get some ideas for my garden water feature I’m doing at home, all sorted now.”
But we’re still awaiting a comment on his choice of gas for the Merc.
