One of the great joys in attending the BMW International Open is the food and drink in Germany.

Just like Italy and the BMW Italian Open, the Munich event is one of the first to be locked-in when deciding on a new season schedule of reporting.

Germany is famous for snitznel with many wonderful varieties on the menu.

Then there’s the German weiss beer or wheat beer that comes in copious quantities in all German towns, and with Munich no exception.

Bernie took a couple of snaps with firstly a wonderful sunrise shot taken from his United Airlines flight on Tuesday morning on route to Munich.
