Call it ‘Wrist Watch Wars’ but double Open Champion, Greg Norman is fuming after incidents in recent weeks involving rival time piece sponsors  – Omega and Rolex.

However it came to a head Norman said on Monday and within the Gleneagles Hotel.

Firstly, it should be pointed out anything to do with the Ryder Cup in Europe has the sponsorship support of Rolex.

Whereas when the European Ryder Cup Team heads to Medinah later next month they will find Omega the official time piece.

But after detailing two incidents in particular Norman was clearly still fuming after posting a first round four over par 75 today at the Omega European Masters.
