How many great rounds of golf commence with a bogey.
Rory McIlroy’s second round of a nine-under-par 63 did on day two of the Abu Dhabi Aldar Championship but then he proceeded to grab the current clubhouse lead on the Yas Links course in the UAE capital.
McIlroy’s clubhouse leading effort included 11 birdies plus bogeys at the first and also the 14th holes.
The current World No. 2 capped his best ever round on the host course with five birdies in a row from the 14th hole on the host course.
