And at Number Four in the world, Hull is also the highest ranked of any competitor in the biannual women’s amateur competition and the spearhead in the team’s effort to end a USA domination in having won the last seven Curtis Cup’s.

England's Chjarley Hull, the highest world ranked player in the Curtis Cup, but dropped from opening round of matches at Nairn.
GB & I team captain, Tegwen Matthews later remarked saying:“There’s no particular reason as everyone is playing particular well.
“I need fresh legs every round so the fact that Charley is not playing in the morning means absolute nothing.”
But after Hull played all four rounds in California and finished in a share of 32nd place, she was admitted back into the GB & I squad.
