Scot David Law is staring at a best DP World Tour finish in some four years heading to the final round of the Hero Indian Open in New Delhi.
Law grabbed five birdies in two under 70 to be sharing fourth place heading to the final day of the event being staged on the famed DLF G&CC at Gurugram close to the India capital.

The 32-year-old trails five shots behind Spaniard Eugenio Characca who also posted a “Moving Day” 70 to extend his lead to three shots at 10-under.
The pair of Alex Fitzpatrick, and younger brother of Matthew who captured last week’s PGA Tour event, along with South African MJ Daffue share second at six-under.
Law is back full-time on the main Tour having forfeited Membership status in 2024 but brilliantly regaining full privileges last year by inning twice to fnish overall runner-up on the secondary Hotel Planner Tour.
Law is currently lying 117th on the Race to Dubai money list, 17 places shy of where he needs to be at season end.
It’s why a strong finish will serve as a huge boost to the affable Scot.

Law said: “It was a really good day and any time you break par on this golf course, it’s an great effort.
“My approach play has been good this week while I’ve also putted well, holing vfive and six footers for pars, and that’s been the key
“A good result this week can set me up for a great season. The good thing of late is I have been posting some good scores.
“So, not looking to put too much pressure on the overall result with the goal to continue to make my way up the leaderboard and not down.
“I’ve been doing a good job of that so far.”
Law’s last Tour top-10 was a T9th in July 2022 at the Hero Open at the Fairmont Resort in St. Andrews.
Triple Tour champ Ewen Ferguson posted a 69 to be a shot behind Law at four under.
Law and Ferguson will be out in the penultimate final round match.
And Euan Walker signed for a level par 72 to be tied sixth at three under.
