It was a special birthday last weekend for Calleigh Burke or Callie as she is affectionately known to all her many friends and admirers.
Callie’s now a teenager having turned 13 though she celebrated her birthday in a very different manner to others her age.
Accompanied by her proud parents Jenny and Ryan, Callie celebrated turning 13 being present at the final round of the PGA Tour’s Valspar Championship on the famed Copperhead course at the Innisbrook Resort at Palm Harbor on the Florida west coast.
While England’s Matt Fitzpatrick brilliantly made amends in losing out a week earlier at the Players, Callie was also a winner with hundreds of Valspar fans visiting the ‘Calleigh’s Way’ promotional stand located within the exhibition area at the tournament.
Callie is no stranger to the Innisbrook Resort courses as she and her father are proud members of the club and while super delighted to celebrate her birthday in an extra special manner, she was just as thrilled with the official launch reaction to her golfing attire.
“It was extra special week for me, not only celebrating my birthday but meeting so many golf fans and also young girls like myself who just loved my line of golf clothing“, said Callie.
“Everyone was just so supportive, saying how much they liked the clothing and what we have planned going forward.
“So, a big thank to everyone and also especially to my parents as they’re been truly fabulous“.
Let’s introduce Callie to you.
GolfByTourMiss is grateful to Callie, her parents and the team in allowing us to sit down with her and learn first just how ‘Callleigh’s Way’ all began and coming away just as thrilled, as so many others are for Callie.
The ancient club-and-ball game can only be a winner with young Callie so eagerly on golf’s clothing first tee.
