Canadian golfer Richard T Lee has one foot in the LIV Golf 2026 membership door heading to the final round of the ‘Promotions’ tournament being held on the Black Diamond Ranch course in Florida.
Lee, 35, posted a third round six-under 64, and his second such round over the three days, to take a two-shot lead into the final day of the LIV Golf qualifier.
Though the ‘Promotions’ third day was, in fact, a fresh round for the remaining 22-players and with the leading three after the two weekend rounds to earn full 2026 LIV Golf membership.

The three-time Asian Tour winner and also four-time Korean Tour champion Lee led by two shots after the opening round ahead of dropping back into a share of second, just one shot off the lead, post day two.
And though day three was a ‘fresh’ round, Lee quickly reinstated his earlier authority posting six birdies in a flawless display in continuing sunny conditions on the par-70 Florida layout.
Lee capped his round with birdies at the second, seventh, ninth, 12th, 14th and 15th holes, and while his first and second round scores do not count, the US-based Canadian would be 14-under through 54-holes having produced six birdies on day one in his 64, three birdies and a bogey in a second round 66 and now six birdies on day three.

All up, that’s 15 birdies and just a lone bogey.
Making-up the top-three is South African Oliver Bekker, who signed for a four-under 66 to be in second place at four-under before being joined by popular Thai golfer Jazz Janewattananond, also posting a 66 and so to did American Anthony Kim
Jazz grabbed six birdies but posted two bogeys while Kim pared the opening eight holes ahead of four birdies over the following 10 holes.
Dane Lucas Bjerregaard posted a 67 to be well in frame on three-under.
Only five shots seperate the leading 10 players and with the top-3 (not including ties) will earn full 2026 LIV Tour membership.
