GolfByTourMiss has already reported Penge is heading ‘Down Under’ is just a fortnight for the back-to-back hosting of the 2026 DP World Tour opening two events – the BMW PGA Championship and the Australian Open.
And the Englishman spoke of the emotion of leaving behind such a successful 2025 DP World Tour year for the unknown adventure and rewards competing on the PGA Tour.
Yeah, I’m looking forward to playing the big events over on that side of the pond,” said Penge.
“Obviously looking forward to playing in all majors next year and play against the best players in the world like we are this week. The standard is different when you’re playing against the best guys.
“I will miss it here. I’ll miss the players, the staff, just the Tour in general. This is where I’ve started and a place I’m not going to for get. Hopefully I’ll be playing as much as I can back on the DP World Tour when that season is finished. It won’t be the last time you see me”.
