Major champ Hannah Green and here caddying husband, Jarryd are celebrating with a $450,000 victory toast after the Aussie golfer captured her second HSBC Women’s World Championship title and seventh LPGA Tour victory after a final-round 69 secured a one-shot win over American Auston Kim on the Sentosa course in Singapore.
Having previously won in 2024, Green becomes the third two-time champion of the event, joining Inbee Park and Jin Young Ko. The victory was made even more special as it marked her first win with her husband on the bag.
Green, and also the 2019 Women’s PGA Championship winner, won after an erratic back-nine with three birdies and three bogeys nearly opened the door for Kim.
Green tapped in for bogey at the last for a 14-under four-round victory total of 274 at the par-72 host course to give her another second success on the tiny island nation after winning the title two years ago.

Green on how this win compares to the one in 2024…
“I think I’m far more emotional just because I was able to do it with my husband,” she said.
“I felt like, I played good in areas last year but it wasn’t very consistent at all, and I guess it has been a long time since I have had a trophy in my hand. When I did win Singapore two years ago, I went on to win two other tournaments that season and pretty much had my best season on tour.
“So having a win so early in the season gives me a bit more flexibility with the tournaments that I can play. So I’m hoping that this puts me in good stead for the rest of the year.”
Green on this being the first win with husband Jarryd on the bag…
“It’s been a really good couple weeks,” she said.
“My caddie that I usually work with, he’s trying to apply for a green card. So he can’t actually leave the U.S. at the moment. So it wasn’t really the plan going into the season, but luckily he was able to pick up bag for me. He’s put his golf clubs aside to look after me.
“It was absolutely a team effort out there today and the entire week the last two weeks, really. So it’s very special to be able to share the 7th win, my favourite number, with my husband.”
Kim had the equal-best round of the day with a 67 on the back off six birdies and an eagle, but bogeys at the second and especially at the par-3 15th ended her charge at 13-under 275, and one shot behind a faltering Green.
Minjee Lee, who had been co-leader with Green coming into Sunday’s final round, mixed three birdies with three bogeys for a frustrating even final round 72 and was tied for third with Angel Yin (71) and Pauline Roussin-Bouchard (68) of France at 11-under 277.
Top-ranked Jeeno Thitikul, who won last week’s tournament in her native Thailand, shot 73 Sunday and was 2-under 287 and tied for 31st. She was one shot behind defending champion Lydia Ko, who had a 72.
