McIlroy was a guest on the Scott Wapner and host of CNBCCEOCouncil , a televised discussion program and with McIlroy guest of honour on stage along with Todd Sisitsky, an 11-year business partner of the Northern Irishman’s.
Among the questions asked by Wapner of McIlroy was that now it has been over six months since winning a maiden Masters, does he feel his long journey to golfing immortality is complete.

“Winning the Masters has lived-up to everything I wanted it to be”, he said.
“I think so that it’s now set in and to most places I travel to now …. I was in India and I was in te Middle East the last few weeks and places you travel to play in events the people want to see you in the green jacket.
“So you take the green jacket with you. Sometimes though you don’t want to wear it. Like you don’t want to …. but then I said to my wife (Erica) …. like I sought of complained about wearing in Abu Dhabi .. and I said to my wife, Erica: ‘If you ever hear me complain about wearing this thing again, like punch me or something (laughter from the audience).
“I waited my whole life to wear this and I’m complaining about wearing it but yeah, it’s amazing the fact that you can show it to people.
“I think is the first green jacket ever to be in India. So just doing little thinks like that it’s very, very cool little perk.”
The near 20-minute on stage discussion was more about McIlroy’s growing business interests and teaming with his long-time manager, Sean O’Flaherty.
Rors spoke about the excitement of getting more involved but joked saying: “Sean and I like to get our hands dirty.”
The five-time major winner also revealed he admired what tennis great Roger Federer is doing with his life post his 20 Grand Slam Singles winning career.
However while the discussion did focus much on business, McIlroy declared he is still first and foremost a golfer though breaking out in a smile in remarking despite the appearaance of more and more grey hairs.
