Chase Koepka, and the younger brother to U.S. Open winning Brooke Koepka, is celebrating after securing his 2017/18 European Tour card.
Koepka, 23 secured European Tour membership in finishing ninth on the money list following the conclusion Saturday to the final event in Oman on the secondary Challenge Tour.
In doing so, Koepka now follows in the footsteps of his 27-year older brother, Brooks who achieved the feat in qualifying for the 2013 European Tour from the Challenge Tour.

Koepka’s place in attaining his European Tour card was assured despite a disappointing 33rd finish in the NBO Golf Classic in Oman.
The top-three finishes on the Challenge Tour in securing full main Tour membership were Finland’s Tapio Pulkkanen, Frenchman Clement Sordet and South African Erik Van Rooyen.
Scotland’s Bradley Neil holed a testing one-metre birdie putt on the final green to secure the 15th and final place by just Euro 4,436 from Germany’s Sebastian Heisele.
