  • He wins his second PGA Tour title in his 345th start and ends a victory drought of seven years, eight months since winning the 2006 John Deere Classic
  • After a pair of runner-up finishes at Innisbrook (2007 & 2008), Senden wins the Valspar Championship in his 11th appearance in the event.
  • Senden becomes the sixth different international player to win the Valspar Championship and the first Australian-born champion.
  • He becomes the second international player to win on the 2013/14 PGA Tour wraparound schedule after fellow Australian Jason Day won the WGC – Cadillac Championship.
  • Senden wins a first prize cheque of $US 1.026m
  • His 2013/14 season earning are now $US 1,415,605
  • Senden’s PGA Tour career earnings since 2002 is now $US 16,246,487
  • At age 42 years, 10 months and 24 days, Senden becomes the first player in his 40s to win on the PGA Tour this season.
  • He earns an exemption through the 2015/16 PGA Tour season
  • Senden earns 500 FedEx Cup ponits and moves to from 83rd to top-20 in the current standings with 719 FedEx Cup points this season
  • Senden earns a spot into the following PGA Tour events – the 2014 Masters, 2014 WGC – Bridgestone Invitational, 2014 PGA Championship and 2015 Hyundai Tournament of Champions.
  • He becomes the sixth playeer in the event to come from behind after 54 holes to win, rallying from two strokes back.
  • His previous best finish on the PGA Tour in 2013/14 was T4 in the McGladery Classic.
  • Senden’s one over par 72 is the highest starting round by a winner on the 2013/14 PGA Tour, surpassing Scott Stallings’ even-par 72 score on day one of the Farmers Insurance Open.
  • His winning 7-under par score of 277 is the second highest winning score at the Valspar Championship.
