In a huge coup for an ultra-private golf club in Florida, the four Major winners from 2013 gathered for an historic photograph ahead of this week’s WGC – Cadillac Championship.
And the four Major Champions, with the exception of Australia’s Adam Scott, brought with them the gleaming symbol of their success.
In Adam’s case, he wore the most sought-after item of apparel in all of golf – an Augusta National green jacket.
England’s Justin Rose arrived with the US Open trophy while Phil Mickelson, who had finished runner-up at Merion to Rose, brought with him the famed Claret Jug and fellow American Jason Dufner was photographed beside the Rodman Wanamaker trophy and his prize in capturing the PGA Championship at Oak Hill.
The venue for the historic photo shoot, and a photograph that has never been possible before Monday, was taken at the Seminole Golf Club, the pristine and very exclusive golf club in Juno Beach, Florida where the club held its annual member-pro.
It’s a day when a member invites a pro (touring or club professional) and according to sources it’s an invitation you don’t turn it down.
