Miguel Angel Jimenez was celebrating after securing the seventh hole-in-one of his career with an ace at the par three 8th hole on the final day of the Portugal Masters.

The Spaniard hit a 160-meter 7-iron that found the bottom of the cup on the Oceanico Victoria course.

It sent Jimenez to eight under par for the event but unfortunately for the very popular pony-tailed golfer there was no car or cash prize.

However waiting for him after his round was Nuno Macanita Mouronho, Export Manager, Fitapreta and producers of Sexy wine.

Nuno handed Jimenez a bottle of Sexy sparkling Rose but with the Spaniard joking:  “Is this all I get?”

However Jimenez’s eyes lit up when Nuno responded: “No.  We are going to send you 100 bottles.”

While it was Jimenez’s seventh hole-in-one on the European Tour he could not recall how many he’s managed in his career.

He was asked to recall what other prizes he had been presented and Jimenez said a motor car and also a watch as among those.

Now the Rioja-loving Spaniard has 100 bottles of one of Portugal’s newest wines to savour.
