For the majority of players competing this week in Akron it now means heading north to up-State New York and begin preparations for Thursday’s starting PGA Championship at Oak Hill in Rochester.

And for many of the players, including a number of Europeans such as Nicolas Colsaerts and Shane Lowry, took advantage of being able to place their bags in a special trailer for the some four hour journey north to the year’s final Major.

However www.golfbytourmiss.com noted a non-golfing item being packed into the trailer for the journey – a guitar.

Let’s hope it plays an Oak Hill winning tune for one lucky golfer.
