Rory McIlroy Blows Out In Betting To Retain U.S. Open Title.

Rory McIlroy’s odds of retaining his U.S. Open title next week have blown out to 14/1 with UK bookmakers, William Hill.

William Hill has installed World No. 4 Tiger Woods as favourite to win a fourth U.S. Open and a 15th Major Championship.

Woods is now 5/1 favourite heading into the event starting next Thursday at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.

Current World No. 3 Lee Westwood is second favourite at 12/1 with McIlroy, Luke Donald and Phil Mickelson each 14/1.  American Jason Dufner is next best at 25/1 with Matt Kuchar, Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose, JimFuryk and Rickie Fowler at 33/1.
