Brandt Snedeker Humbles Thomas Bjorn 5 & 4 With Just 10 Clubs.

American Bradnt Snedeker made the most of just having 10 clubs in his bag in storming to a 5 & 4 victory in just three hours and five minuties over Volvo World Match-Play opponent Thomas Bjorn.

Snedeker was never behind winning the opening three holes and then racing to 5up after just six holes over the future Ryder Cup captain.

Snedeker’s clubs went missing on route from Miami to Spain.

And when his clubs still had not arrived this morning, the 31-year old from Nashville, Tennessee was forced to go into the lucrative event with a mixture of clubs.

Sports  Marketing Surveys Inc John Whyte confirmed Snedeker had a ‘unnamed’ Bridgestone bag along with TaylorMade driver, Bridgestone J-40 irons but unlike his normal Bridgestone irons along with a 56-degree wedge and a TaylorMade putter.

“I have been doing this job for six years and it’s the first time I’ve ever seen a player tee off with only 11 clubs in his bag,” said Whyte.

Snedeker had asked if his clubs turned up during the course of the round for them to be delivered to him.

However under the Rules of Golf he is not allowed to swap or change clubs and can only add three so that there is no more than 14.

The American is competing in the event, and in Spain for a first occasion in his career.
