Mauritius To Host New European Seniors Tour Finale

The European Seniors Tour today announced an exiting new destination for the final event of the season – Mauritius.

The Mauritius resort of Constance Belle Plage will host the MCB Tour Championship from December 9th to 11th.

The resort has previously hosted the Mauritius Commerical Bank Open on the Senior Tour for the past two seasons, with England player Kevin Spurgeon and then South African David Frost winning.

However from this year, the MCB Tour Championship will be akin to the European Tour’s Dubai World Championship and with a prize purse of Euro 400,000.

The 54-hole event will continue to be played on the Constance Belle Mare Plague’s Legend Course, which lies along a two kilometre long stretch of white sandy beach on the eastern coast of Mauitius.

“Over the last two years we have forged a strong relationship with the Mauritius Commercial Bank and Constance Belle Mare Plage and we are delighted to annouce this new agreement that will see the MCB Tour Championship conclude the next four European Senior Tours season,” said Stubbs.
