Woods Confirms Faldo Correct In ‘I’m Done’ and ‘Won’t Play Again’ Augusta Remarks.

Paramus, New Jersey …

Tiger Woods has confirmed Nick Faldo correctly overhead Woods ‘I’m Done’ and ‘Won’t play again’ remarks at the 2017 Masters past champions dinner.

The three-time Masters winning Faldo mentioned the remarks during a recent on-air interview with US radio host, Dan Patrick.

Faldo informed Patrick he overheard Woods speaking with other former Augusta champions and saying: “I’m done and I won’t play again’.

That was nearly 18-months ago and now four back operations later, including spinal fusion surgery, and the recent runner-up in the PGA Championship confirmed Faldo to be correct as Woods competed in a Pro-Am ahead of this week’s Northern Trust at Panamus, New Jersey.

“Yes, Nick’s correct what he heard because at the time I was done and I didn’t know what I was going to be doing,” said Woods to Bob Harig from ESPN.

“I had not golf in my future at that time.  I couldn’t walk.  I couldn’t sit”.

Though the uncertainly of April 2017 has been brilliantly replaced with two second place finishes this year for Woods, first in falling one shot shy of forcing a play-off at the Valspar Championship and last fortnight in being runner-up to Brooks Koepka.

And on September 5th Woods, as many presume Woods has been already advised, will be handed an eighth USA Ryder Cup team cap.
