Frenchman Romain Wattel became the second player in two days to ace the par three 11th but unfortunately he missed out on the prize of a gleaming new BMW.

The prize of a new car had been grabbed a day earlier by England’s Graeme Storm.

Wattel’s only reward was the honor on the next tee but then organisers will be sure of present him with a large bottle of bubbly.

It was a first Tour hole-in-one for both players and also came after the pair had bogeyed the 10th hole.
