Rory McIlroy Heads New World Order – No American In World Ranking Top-5.

Brilliant WGC – Bridgestone Invitational champion Rory McIroy now heads a new World Ranking order.

McIlroy has returned to World No. 1 for a first time since March 2013 following his two stroke victory at the Firestone Country Club course and unseating Australia’s Adam Scott who needed to finish 5th to hold onto the title but eventually shared place and has now seen the 2013 Masters champ drop to World No. 2.

However for a first time in some time there is bizarrely no American-born player inside the top-five on the World Rankings.

The top-five on the World Rankings are now:-

1.  Rory McIlroy.

2.  Adam Scott.

3.  Sergio Garcia

4. Henrik Stenson

5.  Justin Rose.

Matt Kuchar now finds himself the highest World Ranked American at No. 6 with double Masters winner Bubba Watson at No. 7.
