World No. 1 Tiger Woods had no sooner posted the lowest score of the two rounds of the Turkish Airlines Open and he singled out current European No. 1 Henrik Stenson for praise.
While Woods continues to ride high atop of the World Rankings, easily the best player over the past five months has been Stenson.

Starting with his second place finish in the US Open, Stenson has posted the following superb results:-
3rd – Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open
2nd – 142nd Open Championship
2nd – WGC Bridgestone Invitational
3rd – PGA Championship
1st -Deutsche Bank Championship
1st – Tour Championship & be crowned FedEx Cup Champion.
And Woods’ comments only mirror the remarks of the majority of Stenson’s peers.
“I think it started with the British Open, maybe he started playing well, and he’s just got it going pretty good,” said Woods.
“He’s playing consistent. He’s also playing hurt, too.
“So he’s going to have to try and get through these couple of weeks and deal with a very long season.”
