The European Tour is set to make a formal announcement Thursday regarding the immediate future of England’s Simon Dyson.
Dyson was disqualified from last week’s BMW Masters after being caught tapping down a spike mark with his golf ball during the third round at Lake Malaren.
The European Tour has since been in damage control made with officials and Dyson’s ISM client managers observed in many discussions over the fate of the six-time Tour winning Yorkshireman.
Unfortunately, everything points to Dyson been banned from competition from three to four months after being previously pulled up by the Tour earlier this year over similar rules violations.
