Sixteen-year old Maddie Hayes will have some stories to relate to her girlfriends after been allocated the star three-ball of Adam Scott, Justin Rose and Phil Mickelson.

Maddie is a member of the Oak Hill Country Club and put her name down to volunteer in this week’s 95th PGA Championship.

And her first day on the job involved being the ‘Walking Leaderboard’ for the year’s three Major Champions.

Maddie has also been allocated a final round match but as this stage that is unknown.

Naturally,  Maddie was thrilled to walk down the middle of the fairways with three of the game’s greatest players.

“It’s been great to see the pros playing my course,” said the 21-handicapper.

“It was just so interesting to see how far and how good they hit the golf ball, and it just amazing and incredible to watch.”
