Tiger Woods To Play Host To Two Victorious European & 10 Fellow USA Ryder Cup Stars.

Tiger Woods will play host to victorious European Ryder Cup stars Ian Poulter and Graeme McDowell at the 14th staging of the World Challenge being staged from November 29th to December 2nd, 2012.

The full field for the $5m event, to benefit the Tiger Woods Foundation, to again take place at the Sherwood Country Club in suburban L. A. was annouced today.

Tiger Woods ends a two-year losing drought to capture the 2011 World Challenge.

Woods birdied the final two holes last year to capture the Challenge for a record fifth time, snapping a two-year win drought after having not won since being fitted with the traditional gold jacket in capturing the 2009 Australian Masters.

Also teeing up will be nine of Woods’ Ryder Cup team mates in current Masters champion Bubba Watson, 2012 U.S. Open winner Webb Simpson plus Keegan Bradley, Jason Dufner, Matt Kuchar, Dustin Johnson, Zach Johnson, Steve Stricker, Jim Furyk and Brandt Snedeker.

As well, Nick Watney, Hunter Mahan, Bo Van Pelt and Rickie Fowler along with Australia’s exciting Jason Day will be in the field.

“We are extremely excited about the depth and talent of our field, and are looking forward to another exciting tournament,” Woods said.

Woods has won three US PGA titles this year, including the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the Memorial and National.

Snedeker, Dufner, Mahan and Zach Johnson have each won twice on tour this year.
